I am writing this at 11 at night waiting for the new year! Waiting to count down the seconds for 2007. I can’t believe that 2006 has gone by already! I have been thinking about all that has happened this year. The good, the bad, the sad, and the funny. Some of my favorite moments were visiting Pa. But my favorite was of course what else…My Birthday!!!! It was a great 16th birthday party. It really was Sweet 16!!!!! But there was also sad and bad times that unfortunately I remember. But it is better to try to remember the good times! Right! Well hope you all had a great 2006! And I wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year!

-Hey if you want to share any of your favorite times of 2006 with me please do so! :)

High Pointe Sunday Morning’s Message

December 24th, 2006 | Category: Church

Hey all! I just came home from church and this morning was a great message about Christmas! It was called After Christmas. It was saying that Christmas isn’t just about gifts and decorations but about God and his Son. You see when Christmas comes we are so excited but as soon as we open our gifts the excitement is gone and we take down the decorations. But Christmas represents so much more. There were reasons he gave to why we should be excited about Christmas all year round and most after Christmas.

What Christmas Means:

  1. God keeps His promises
  2. You matter to God
  3. The present can be as great as the past and future

I just thought that was interesting. Because I don’t know what it is like with all you but the excitement goes out of me after Christmas too. I never thought about it like that. So just wanted to share.

Merry Christmas!

Pirates of the Caribbean, Well Sorta…

December 23rd, 2006 | Category: Hobbies, Pirates

Hey everyone! I hope you all are having a good Christmas so far! Well I still canĂ¢â‚¬â„¢t wait it is as though the days are moving slower than molasses on a winter morning! (ok that was a mom saying ) ) Anyway toback to what I wanted to say. I have started to put a story of my friends and I as pirates. Right now it is just chapter one but I will be adding to it. It will take a while because I am making this up as I go or trying to remember the story line I had couple years ago. If anyone who is a piratey friend and would like to add to it or have any ideas please let me know! And if you want to be part of it (I donĂ¢â‚¬â„¢t have anything for Matt and Arin) let me know what names you want and stuff. Also if you want to be a pirate or Birtish officer/soldier or something let me know Well I hope you enjoy!

Merry Christmas!!! Love you all!

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town!

December 22nd, 2006 | Category: Church, Winter

That’s right Christmas is right around the corner!!! I can hardly keep from screaming! I can’t explain the feeling I feel at like 3 in the morning on Christmas wishing I could wake my parents at that moment! I am like a little kid!! But as we know that is not what Christmas is all about. I have to say one of my favorite things to do during Christmas is to read about Jesus’ birth in Luke with the entire family. Just being able to spend time with the family is great. When we lived in Ca. we went to a bunch of different houses to spend Christmas and it wans’t fun at all. Then when we moved to Pa. it was nice because it was just us and no one else. It was a time to get away from the busy schedules and just spend time as a family and help cook dinner. And although last year was crazy because of us moving up here it was still nice to be together. So this Christmas I encourage you to spend time with your family and think about how much they love you! And think about how much God loves you sending his only Son to earth to die for us! This Christmas celebrate Christ’s birth!

Luke 2:8-14

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. And angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find the baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying. “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

Knitting and Reading Books

December 18th, 2006 | Category: Hobbies

Ok lately I have learned to knit and have started a shawl. The pain in the butt part is it is going to take forever! It has to be 50 inches long and it has been almost a month and I have only 10 inches so far. I figure it will take me the rest of the winter and by the time I am finish it it will be too warm to wear.

And the whole book reading thing, I have no time to read my books because of all the math i have to do. And the book I picked is kinda of long. It is called “Wild Rose” and is the true story of Rose O’Neale Greenhow the Confederate Spy. So far it is really cool it just takes a long time to read.

Hey if you guys have any books that you like and think I would like please let me know!! :)

Skillet Rocks!!!!

December 15th, 2006 | Category: Music and Movies

Dude, I just can’t stop listening to Skillet’s Comatose cd! They have the coolest songs ever. And all the songs have meaning and inspiration to them. Like “The Last Night” talks about someone who his thinking about suicide because he is having a hard time in life and a friend helps him get through the hard time. It says in the song “I won’t let you say good-bye and I’ll be your reason why”, I just love that part of the song! Another song like that is “Those Nights”. It is not as hard rock as Skillet Collide or so I have been told (I haven’t really heard it). But either way it is still just absolutely great! My favorites right now are:

  • Whispers in the Dark
  • Comatose
  • The Last Night
  • Your to Hold
  • Those Nights

Those are just my most favorite songs off the cd but I love the whole cd!
